Ingredients baked salmon with lemon caper butter
2 lb copper river salmon with the skin on
1 kosher salt and pepper to taste
1 non stick spray
4 clove garlic minced
6 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp lemon zest
4 tbsp capers drained&rinsed
1 juice of 1 lemon
1 kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper
1 lemon6-8 slices
how to make baked salmon with lemon caper butter
preheat oven 450°line a baking sheet with aluminum foil spray foil with non stick spray.place salmon on sheet skin side down
sprinkle fillets with k.salt and cracked pepper,place lemon slices on top overlapping them if you have to
bake 10 minutes, remove and tent with foil, bake 10-15 more minutes or until fish flakes easy with fork
while fish cooks, in small sauce pan melt butter on medium heat, once melted add:garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice,capers.cook 2 minutes and season to taste pepper and salt
when salmon done pull out oven& throw away lemon slices
gently slide a metal spatula between the fish and skin take your time it should come off easily. take salmon put on serving dish and spoon on the caper butter. serve right away enjoy
