Ingredients lemonade pie
1 1/2 cup finely crushed graham crackers
1/3 cup Butter or margarine melted
3 tbsp sugar
1 quart (4 cups) vanilla ice cream softened
6 oz can frozen lemonade concentrate thawed
1 few drops of yellow food coloring
1 lemon peel for garnish
how to make lemonade pie
Heat oven to 350°
In medium bowl, mix first 3 ingredients. Press graham cracker mixture firmly against bottom and side of 9 inch pie plate. Bake about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool crust 30 minutes.
In large bowl, use mixer and mix ice cream, lemonade concentrate and food coloring. Add ice cream mixture in cooled pie crust.
Freeze about 4 hours or until firm. Let stand at room temperature a few minutes before cutting. Garnish with lemon peel. Store left overs in freezer.
