Ingredients lemony lemon brownies


3/4 cup All purpose flour
3/4 cup Granulated sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
1 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
2 large Eggs
2 tbsp Lemon zest
2 tbsp Lemon juice
tart lemon glaze
4 tbsp Lemon juice
8 tsp Lemon zest
1 cup Icing sugar

how to make lemony lemon brownies


Preheat oven to 350?F.


Grease 8x8 baking dish


Zest and juice two lemons and set aside


Beat flower, sugar, salt and butter until combined


In separate bowl whisk together the eggs, lemon juice and lemon zest until combined


Pour it into the flour mixture and best for 2 mins at medium speed until smooth and creamy


Pour into baking dish and bake for 23 to 25 mins. Should be golden brown on the edges


Allow to cool completely before glazing. Do not over cook or the bars will be dry


Filter the powdered sugar and whisk with lemon zest and juice


Spread the glaze over the brownies with a rubber spatula and let them set


Cut bars and serve
