1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Cornmeal
4 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Milk
1 Egg
1/4 cup Oil

Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease a 9" cast iron skillet or cake pan.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt with wisk.
In a seperate bowl or cup, beat egg into milk. Pour into dry ingredients and mix well.
Mix in oil last. Pour into skillet or pan and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
