Ingredients cod fish with scramble eggs and fries portuguese bacalhau a bras


600 grams drie salt cod (can use fillets if you prefer )
2 tbsp olive oil
2 medium onions thinly sliced
2 clove garlic shopped
500 grams potatoes julienned
8 eggs beaten
1 black olives and parsley to garnish
1 salt and pepper to taste

how to make cod fish with scramble eggs and fries portuguese bacalhau a bras


soak the cod in water for 48hours ,then shred it making sure you remove all bones and skin (if you use fillets no need to soak )


in a large pan cook onions and garlic in olive oil until light golden,add the cod and stir


in a separate pan deep fry the potatoes until golden ,add to the cod and mix through very gently with a fork


before serve add the eggs and mix gently until the eggs are cooked


season to taste


garnish with black olives and parsley
