Ingredients layered chicken bake


3 chicken breasts cooked & shredded
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 egg yolk beaten
1 cup a little over a cup gluten-free buscuit mix
2/3 cup soy milk

how to make layered chicken bake


Heat oven to 400°F.


Grease baking dish, 8x8x2".


Mix chicken, cheese, lemon juice, egg, salt, &pepper.


In separate bowl, mix milk, mayonnaise, & egg yolk. Then add enough gluten-free buscuit mix to get to not quite buscuit dough consistency.


Spread half the dough in baking dish. Pour the chicken mixture over that. Then spread rest of dough over chicken. Spray with cooking spray.


Bake for 30 minutes.


Let cool for 5 minutes.
